Senior Key Account Manager
Customer focused and able to identify and create opportunities 
The Netherlands


  • Responsible for business growth of Oterra's natural color product portfolio in the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland 
  • Maintaining and expanding relations with regional key customers and prospecting new customers by ensuring best-in-class customer service 
  • Uncovering and connecting customer needs to Oterra’s portfolio with compelling value propositions 
  • Mapping individual customers within the portfolio and develop long-term customer plans 
  • Planning and executing customer activities, including visits, trials, and innovation days 
  • Provide technical advice and support regarding product use and adaptation 
  • Coordinating and following up on internal and external projects 
  • Reporting to the Business Manager DACH & NL, based in Germany. 


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science/Chemistry or in a Commercial discipline 
  • Relevant B2B sales experience, preferably within the food ingredients industry, with a focus on consultative selling 
  • Affinity with food and Oterra’s product portfolio  
  • Excels in autonomous work environments and at the same time knows how to navigate in a matrix organization 
  • Home-based in the Netherlands, with regular travelling in the Netherlands, and occasionally to Austria and Switzerland  
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in Dutch and English; German would be considered a plus 
  • The successful candidate is a self-starter, resilient, collaborative, has the ability to develop relationships, and has a good sense of humor.
