I’ve been working at DUPP since 2020. What started as temporary cover for a colleague on maternity leave turned into a permanent role as a consultant. I also live in Wageningen, and my biggest passion—horses—is here too. So I’ve really got everything close! Where am I from? Bennekom, a true local in that regard.
What’s your favorite season and why?
Autumn is my favorite season. After a warm summer, the temperature starts to cool down, and the leaves on the trees turn beautiful shades of red and gold. Walking through the woods with rain boots on while the sun makes a final effort and the fireplaces are lit—this makes me very happy!
What’s something you’d love to learn?
Playing the piano or dancing. I really enjoy music, but I’ve got no sense of rhythm or tune. My colleagues can vouch for that—my cheerful whistling isn’t always appreciated. But I think I can learn it, so it’s definitely on my list for the future.
What’s your ultimate guilty pleasure when it comes to food?
Chocolate sprinkles or flakes (‘hagelslag of ‘chocoladevlokken’) on my yogurt in the morning. It doesn’t matter what’s in the bowl—quark, yogurt, nuts, seeds, fruit—as long as there’s a sprinkle of chocolate on top, I’m happy. Definitely my guilty pleasure, not very gastronomical though.

I grew up in Voorburg and moved to Wageningen when I was 17 to study Food Technology. After completing my master’s, I worked as a product developer at a start-up for two years, and since 2024, I’ve been working as a consultant at DUPP.
What do you like to do on a rainy day?
I have a subscription to various movie-theaters in the Netherlands. My friends have the same subscription, so you’ll find us at one of these theaters once or twice a week, watching the latest films and documentaries. Since you’re allowed to bring cups of tea or hot chocolate into the theater, it’s the perfect for a rainy day.
If you could pick one dish to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’m a huge fan of garlic, so that’s a must. I’d probably eat pizza topped with vegetables and lots of garlic every day. During a holiday in Rome, I ate pizza for seven days straight, and I still wasn’t tired of it.
What’s something you’d love to learn?
There’s actually a lot I still want to learn. I’ve always had a broad range of interests; I recently took some pedagogical courses and a course in jewelry design. I’d also love to get back into playing the piano, so maybe that’ll be my next challenge.

In 2014 I started as a Consultant at DUPP. Originally, I’m from Bavel, a village near Breda, but now I live in Wageningen.
What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
I once jumped out of a plane. Sure, plenty of people do that, but in my case, it didn’t quite go as planned. My parachute didn’t open. That was definitely an adventure I wasn’t expecting, but luckily, I’m still here to tell the tale.
What’s the strangest food you’ve ever eaten?
“If you haven’t tried it, you can’t say if you like it or not.” That’s what my parents always told me, so I’ll try anything once. I took on a few food challenges in Cambodia, where I ate crickets, fried tarantula, and a fertilized duck egg. Surprisingly, everything tasted better than I expected!
Is there a restaurant you’d love to visit?
I’d love to dine at “The Fat Duck” in England. It’s owned by Heston Blumenthal, and what he does with food is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. He truly turns it into a unique experience, and I’d love to try it for myself someday.
What’s most important to you in life?
For me, the most important thing is being happy with the things you have. More isn’t always better.

Since 2021, I have been gladly working as a consultant at DUPP. I’m originally from Ede, where I both lived and studied, followed by my time at WUR, which has given me a deep connection to the Food Valley from a young age. Recently, I moved to the beautiful city of Arnhem. What many people don’t know is that although I grew up in the Veluwe, I was actually born in the Himalayas. So, in addition to my passion for food, I developed a love for adventure and travel early on in life.
What do
you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy a dynamic social life, which my colleagues hear all about during our
Monday afternoon lunch.
From DJ-ing at parties, weekend trips with my girlfriend, friends or family, or discovering new music at concerts—there’s always something to talk about!
What is
the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Last year, I went on a diving trip in Egypt, where I spent a week on a boat to
reach the most remote diving spots in the Red Sea. During one of these dives,
we came face to face with a group of hammerhead sharks. The Steve Irwin in me
did a little happy dance with lots of underwater bubbles.
What do
you do to stay healthy and active?
I have been playing soccer since I was young. In the lower leagues of Ede, my
team is consistently the champion of the third half.
I also enjoy a game of padel or squash and can often be found in the gym—#fitboy. Sometimes, in my enthusiasm, I get my colleagues to join me for a 1-2 minute plank session, naturally with a motivating playlist.

I have been working at DUPP since 2000. I started as a recruitment & selection consultant. In 2009, I began setting up the interim division within DUPP, and I still enjoy doing that to this day. I've been living in Nuenen, a village near Eindhoven, for over 15 years now, with my husband, 3 children, a dog, and a cat.
If you
could visit one place in the world, where would it be and why?
There are still many places I’d like to visit, simply because I’m curious about
how those places are. But I would really like to go back to Hong Kong. I have
some very special memories of that place, and I think it would be great to go
there with my whole family and spend a few years living there.
What is
your favorite season and why?
Spring. After the winter, I always look forward to spring, it makes me happy!
Nature changes, the green leaves and the colors come back, the many birds, and
the first rays of sunshine… I feel super energized then. It’s great to exercise
outside (tennis competitions), go for walks; yes, it really makes me happy!
What is
your ultimate guilty pleasure when it comes to food?
I enjoy many
different things, but I find it hard to resist a salty licorice lollipop after
a meal! Delicious!
Are you
more of a breakfast person, or do you prefer to skip it?
I really love breakfast. I enjoy bread, yogurt, fruit, an egg, etc., and I find
it very tasty and ‘gezellig’. Okay, during the week we don’t sit down together
for a long breakfast, but I try to do so on the weekends. It’s a great way to
start the weekend: having breakfast in your pajamas with messy hair. Hahaha!

After working in the meat industry for 12 years, I started at DUPP in March 2024. The food industry is incredibly diverse, and it's always a rewarding challenge to help our clients solve their problems. I live in Zeist with my wife Carolien and our two sons.
What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
During my student years, I drove to the North Cape and back within 12 days with two friends for 3FM Serious Request. We only had 7 days to find a car and sponsors, completed various tasks along the way to raise money, and in the end, we raised 7,000 euros.
Breakfast, lunch, or dinner – which meal is your favorite and why?
Dinner, by far, preferably with Southern European cheese and charcuterie as a starter. There are so many different dishes from various cultures, and dinner is usually a warm meal, which I enjoy. Plus, it's the least bothersome to overeat a little during this meal and then relax afterwards.
Do you have a favorite dish from a particular cuisine (Italian, Mexican, Asian, etc.)?
Not specifically, but I do have a fondness for French cuisine during holidays. Everything seems pure and traditional, without unnecessary extras, which makes something as simple as a croissant with butter for breakfast a delight. Then, a pot of cheese fondue with a glass of wine for lunch, and a beautiful meat dish in the evening.

I have been back at DUPP as Office Manager since January 2025. Before that, I worked at this great company for almost 9 years. I live in the village of Driel with my three sons and my husband.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Besides my work and taking care of the children, I really enjoy my free time. I love going out with my kids, taking nice walks, or watching a fun movie. I also enjoy cooking.
What is your favorite holiday destination?
We love going to the south of France. But we also really enjoy staying in the Netherlands, especially by the coast in Zeeland.
What is your guilty pleasure when it comes to food?
There are many things I love to eat, but you can always wake me up for a good sauerkraut mash or a green bean mash. Old-fashioned, but definitely a favorite!
