With a creative, structured and solution-oriented view on food law and regulation

Functie
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations for all probiotic dietary supplements, production processes, instructions, and packaging
- Contributing to the Regulatory Affairs (RA) strategy by assessing European laws and anticipating upcoming regulatory changes to enable proactive action
- Leading and coaching the Regulatory Affairs team, consisting of one RA Officer and two external RA Specialists
- Consulting with regulatory agencies and trade associations and translating their input into implications for the production organization
- Supporting the Sales and R&D teams with the prioritization of New Product Development projects to ensure smooth market introductions
- Collaborating closely with the R&D, Production, Quality Assurance (QA), and Commercial departments
- Reporting to the Operations Director.
Profiel
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology or a legal background supplemented with work experience in the food industry
- Several years of relevant management experience in Regulatory Affairs, specifically in food safety
- Knowledge of relevant global law and regulations and the ability to develop, analyze, and interpret technical dossiers, for e.g. Asian and South American markets
- Enjoys working on complex cases that involve lots of stakeholders both internal and external
- Communicates clearly and convincingly, both in writing and verbally, in Dutch and English
- Personal characteristics: accurate, proactive, entrepreneurial, strong project management skills, networker, solution-oriented, and able to delegate.
