In collaboration with IFR-A, we are looking for a Managing Director purchasing company for The Karlsberg and the Warsteiner Groups. The Karlsberg and the Warsteiner Groups – two successful, owner-managed beverage companies with a combined sales volume of almost 1 billion – have partnered to bundle their purchasing activities. The position of Managing Director has been created for the development of the newly founded company and will be responsible for purchasing raw materials, packaging, technology, energy and logistics services.

Functie
- You will play a key role in shaping the company’s vision, mission and strategy
- You will build up a modern, needs-based and effective purchasing organization with a competent team
- You will ensure the availability of materials through proactive supplier management and relevant contracts
- You will enable a solid network between the procurement company and the operative procurement functions of the shareholder companies.
Profiel
- You have several years of experience in a leading management position in the food sector including purchasing responsibility and you have mastered the keyboard of global sourcing in an industrial company
- You know the procurement markets, particularly in the area of raw materials, and you have a good network
- You have experience in following up on change processes and you enjoy development tasks
- You are a self-confident personality with an entrepreneurial mind-set who acts independently, and you have a convincing manner with very good communication skills (German and English) and a positive attitude.
