International Key Account Manager

Functie

 

  • Responsible for developing and implementing key account plans for various alcoholic beverage customers in the market regions Europe and Africa
  • Composing key account plans in alignment with the company strategy and regional commercial priorities
  • Analysing and understanding the requirements and decision making processes of key accounts in the various European countries and in Africa
  • Managing and organising the cooperation between the key accounts and Creamy Creation with all functional disciplines involved (Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, etc.)
  • Negotiating and closing longer term business contracts with mutual benefits
  • Growing the business with key accounts by utilising their international market coverage and by continuously introducing new concepts for product innovation
  • Monitoring and evaluating the customer performance and initiating improvements where and when needed
  • Gathering, sharing and utilising relevant business insights about market trends, competition and product innovations
  • Active member of the Sales team and reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Profiel

  • Bachelor or Master degree, for example in Food Technology, Chemical Technology or Business Management
  • Relevant international B2B sales experience in the food & beverage business with value add products for industrial customers
  • Proven track record in growing the business based on partnership relations, with a proactive customer approach resulting in closing deals
  • Excited by stimulating product innovation processes, both at customers and internally
  • Capable of managing the interactions between key customers and own colleagues at various functional levels
  • Comfortable working in an international business environment with regular international travelling (up to 35%)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English and preferably a good command of other European languages
  • Fits with the culture of an entrepreneurial and customer focussed company
  • Personal skills: strategic vision, commercial driven, hunter, well organised, convincing, taking decisions, ownership and team player.
