Functie

  • Visiting mainly new but also existing customers on a regular basis
  • Monitoring, forecasting and reporting on the market
  • Manage customer issue resolutions and recommend preventive actions to minimize future incidents
  • Negotiation and deal closing with customers
  • Representing SimHerd at industry events such as fairs and conferences
  • Keeping up to date with the development in the industry, the technology development and the players in the industry. 

Profiel

  • You are familiar with how the industry works and the conditions for the farmers as well as the technology and service providers. 
  • You have got a relevant educational background as veterinarian, agronomist or the like combined with a solid experience in a commercial role as advisor/consultant or account manager. 
  • Experience handling larger customers in the agro industry is a definite advantage. So is international experience. 
  • Your sales toolbox is well developed and you possess a good understanding of sales processes from strategy to execution. 
  • You can relate to handling the longer lead times involved in solution selling, and you know how to build a pipeline that stabilizes the sales forecast and the workload. 
  • Working with data and professional usage of MS-Office and other IT tools is natural to you, and you possess excellent communications writing. 
  • As a person you have an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do mentality combined with a structured approach and a team orientation.
